Why?
Everything in the physical world expires. Even the earth itself will expire one day.
The only question is when and how?
This intervention is about facilitating as
graceful expiry as possible with one simple change
in the law.
Making BREEDING illegal.
But why involve the law?
Before we answer that question, we realise that humanity is not ready to hear the truth and will carry on breeding regardless of reason and logic. We realise that this will not be enshrined in the law any time soon. The point of this experiment is simply to raise the questions and encourage people to start talking about the huge ethical questions involved with reproduction.
The law is supposedly there to protect the most vulnerable amongst us, protect society, the animals and the environment. And nobody is more vulnerable than young sentient beings. Nothing does more harm to the economy than new people being born. Nothing does more harm to the environment than procreation.
By bringing someone into existence, we are taking a huge risk with somebody else's life. Its actually a risk that many, if not most of us would NOT consent to if they knew the odds of all the mental/physical illnesses and harm that could come to them or their loved ones in their lifetime as both a child or adult and knowing what getting old was actually like. And knowing the slavery that the capitalist system has in store for them.
Furthermore, the newborn will be exploited immediately by all the greedy corporations waiting to profit from the child from big pharma, big food, clothing, toys, nappies and now even by big tech. And he/she will be exploiting it's parents for most of its life! Every child does huge harm to the environment and if global warming is indeed man made, how can we birng children here in the knowledge that catastrophe is round the corner? These children will be complicit in harming thousands of animals in its life (If it is brought up to eat meat and animal 'products' and wear them) and also in harming the millions of fellow humans who have to slave away to keep up with the insatiable human desire of things.
And for every child that is born in the First world, the taxpayers in that country have to pay for the child's health, education and transport for up to 20 years before that child gets enslaved and starts paying into the tax pool. And the counter argument that we need more young people to pay taxes to support and take care of the old is fallacious because in every first world country it would be easy to import as many young adults as they want to fill the few positions that will be available once automation comes into full swing.
There is much more to say on this matter. This will be added to in text as well as on video.
